Cover your ass
I'm pretty good at covering my ass at work.
Why can't I seem to cover my ass for wrestling?!
Where do all the big guys find their gear? Looking for brand or vendor referrals from someone over 200 lbs who has bought a comfortable speedo somewhere.

2019-08-11 04:24They seem to have a big selection, nu2rasln. Have you bought anything from them?
Most are a little too flashy for my style, but maybe I'll try one of the more neutral ones.

yes I have purchased several speedos from...I like yourself am not too keen with flashy items and they subtle ones available but they can be pricey. I think you would look great in anything from Highspots or ebay.

2019-08-12 04:16I don't care what you wear; I never heard of a Beau Brummel in wrestling. I just want to wrestle you, gear or no gear. I know are stats don't thoroughly match, and I have noted your comments on a previous blog. Well written to be sure, though the gist of it seemed to negate my comments, namly that a man who feels he is able ought to at least be able to receive back a two letter word from his challenge. Still, I will stand by my assertions and at the same time respect the fact that there are people who go into a Baskin and Robbins and order over priced vanilla. :)

2019-08-12 04:18One small addition. Your are a handsome man and I have reason to believe whatever you choose to wear (that is, purchase in the future) you will look awesome, but still beatable in a match.
I wish you the best in all things, honestly. Even in a match with me.

2019-08-12 10:00Can those guys who have bought from the retailers mentioned in this blog comment on quality and service? Did you get what you wanted? Did the sizing come up small/large or as expected?

2019-08-12 16:30I purchased the blue speedo (above) from swimoutlet.com
It arrived about 1.5 weeks later. It was described as a water polo speedo and I ordered the XXXL. I wasn't convinced it would provide enough "coverage" in the butt (it doesn't) and was surprised how low cut is is below the navel. It's perfectly fine for my pool, but I'm not sure how comfortable it'll be to wrestle in.
Which convinced me of several things: 1. My butt is too big - and not in beefy, muscle way; 2. Water polo speedos are meant for dudes with washboard abs; 3. I don't have washboard anything. (Thus the writing of this blog)
The red singlet in my profile photo was purchased at the same time but didn't arrive until well over a month later. (About 5 weeks)
That was ordered from wrestlersupply.com It's an adidas climacool fabric and I'll put it to the test later today to see. It seemed to run bigger in the legs than I had expected. I ordered an XL (186-220 lbs). It is comfortable on the top but may have been cut for guys with bigger legs than me. But for $64 with tax, I'll use it.

2019-08-12 17:07Well, first let me say that I took note that you didn't respond to my not totally subtle request for a match.
That said, I applaud your distinct and totally unabashed sense of humility in sharing your latest comment on your purchase of an apparent mismatched swimsuit. You are obviously a man of great character. (Another reason why I want to wrestle you.)
I wish with all sincerity that you find a wrestling garment with which you quite pleased, and if there is any means to alter your posterior in a humane and effect way that you will succeed in the accomplishment.
Bravo, fellow member!

2019-08-12 22:53You might want to look into starwear.us aka mary*angel.
https://www.starwear.us/mens/
Their xxxl maps into a 40 - 42 waist but they tend to do a fairly good job on cutting the entire piece proportionally larger. But you have to wade through their entire collection to find an item. They will switch the fabrics on a specific piece and put into the catalog with a new name..

Thanks, nwfan53. The starwear stuff looks a touch “skimpy” to me. Maybe I’m too modest? :0
But it sounds like you have purchased from them and been satisfied.

Skimpy is a fully accurate description of a lot of their mens stuff but take a look at what they describe as full cut swim briefs eg the Argus, Arthur, orPerseus. I'm guess they cut those from the same pattern. Also one other difference is some but not all of starwears stuff is available with linings.
Which does make a difference depending on the fabric and whether you are going to wear this in water. I'm not sure I have ever gotten anything from Highspots that was lined but their stuff is not swimgear either so the assumption might be that you have something on under theirs.

How was Starwear's sizing?

My subjective impression is Starwears 3xl is cut using more fabric than the Turbo 42 inch waist trunks which is the biggest I've found from Swimoutlet. Either one works for a 44 inch street clothes waist but the Turbo you need to pull up periodically in the back.
