It might depend on countries. I think in Europe the amount of wrestling has gone up as the conditions for crossing border has become more stable and the vaccination rates are now pretty reasonable levels. But yeah proper international journeys are still much more difficult... We will get there!
My experience as 2 months in the UK and Ireland comes to end is that yonkerswrangler is right – it gets harder and harder to get anyone to wrestle these days, and getting a big group together where most would have to travel a long distance will be near impossible in my view. Wrestle Fest in Feb might be a good test case to see if guys on here are still serious about wrestling and willing to travel.
It sounds like for now it might be easier to plan around continental clusters - a global meet-up seems a bit of a stretch although they reopened the US/EU borders...
