What I Got For Christmas
So after some negative tests, I managed to meet my parents with my boyfriend and have a lunch and gifts almost like a normal year, but otherwise I was having real trouble getting into the spirit of the holiday.

2020-12-29 02:38Glad you're able to meet them yep it's like a fog over the holidays and not being fully there to enjoy them.. And without parents or close friends to visit and feel the warmth of Christmas it's really hard.. I remember going to the department stores and other stores Christmas all decked out and selling Christmas merchandise this year was really skimpy.. so lackluster no imagination cheer up the customers. All I saw was scattered boxes and clothes all over the floor customers just don't care that somebody else has to pick up after them.. man that's not a holiday spirit is it. Let's see what the new year brings hope we can get back into the spirit of feeling more helpful to each other and more hopeful hopefully during the blossom of spring to see some real sunlight at the end of the tunnel and not an illusion of light by some Led lamp. Yep hopefully we'll all get out of this malaise
