My first wrestle

I had my first wrestle to day and discovered a few things. My stamina is rubbish as I can only last a short while before my energy is sapped. I'm pretty strong but that needs to be backed up with stamina and I really don't think I should be getting into the ring at this time unless I want to lose very quickly, heck maybe that could be fun!

Every time you lose a wrestling match you become a better wrestler.

You need to do some cardiovascular training as well.

True, I learned a lot today in terms of moves, grips, holds, etc. My opponent was fast and agile for a big man.

Don is right, get some cardio! Running, swimming, cycling are all good, but even walking can help build up your general fitness. Plus, of course, wrestling itself is excellent cardio so don't be downhearted, keep getting back on the horse.

Howdy! Don't loose heart son. In the same boat here! Strong as a bull but me Stamina a SHADOW of what it once was just a few years ago!!! Like the guys have said just start out lil by lil and walking is very good and wrasslin is AWESOME for stamina, don't try to go to crazy ALL at once, or ya not gonna get the results!!! Ya got a GREAT STRONG build, like SGT.
