water wrestling

Just a quick update on this water wrestling;
There were no real takers for the idea of regular water wrestling so during the recent re-furnishing of the wrestling space we decided to get rid of the water pool in order to make more room.
The kit was stored there taking up too much space and never being used so we chucked it all into the skip!!! Nobody that I asked wanted to take it either.
Water wrestling like oil wrestling is one of those activities that people say they like but show no commitment when regular practical sessions are offered.

I have a very large pool at the Grove Park wrestling ring suitable for water and pool wrestling.

We used to organise water wrestling there a few years ago and there is a video of me and Hard Andy kicking around the internet when we did a pool bout some years ago.

Is there much interest in London in such a thing now? I found at the time when we tried to organise a regular monthly water wrestling group that there was zero interest.

I don't live in the UK but visit often. I'd be down for joining meets when I can.
