Slim guy here, and trust me I’ve never just laid back and taken a beating! Lol. I always want to be competitive and give my opponent a good fight, even if I end up going with someone who totally outclasses me. I win some and lose some but if I lose, it won’t be because I didn’t give it a damn good try!
I admit as a lighty, that it is oftten frustrating when You shall fight against a chap of 85 kg!! Maybe many guys surrender being convinced they cannot win, whatever they do and it is better not to provoke the opponent.
The reason would be the same for the many medium build/stocky/fat/muscular guys who also don't fight back (and as a slim guy myself, I've experienced many bigger build guys who can't fight).
They either want to get beaten or they simply lack the aggression/skill/fitness/strength/coordination to fight back properly
I’ve wrestled a few slim guys, and they did fight back a bit. I remember one guy (not from here), about 5’5” or 5’7”, maybe 127 lbs. He had definition but not a lot of bulk. Really good abs so it was hard to punish his abs. It was a pretty rough match. Once in awhile, slim guys do give a good fight.
was recently against a young jobber who was putting his fists up and threatening me - i got him in a tight bearhug and he just melted - then and for the rest of the match.
I guess the reason is that most guys here are over 80 kg. So it makes not so much sense for them to fight and maybe they think the more they fight the stronger they get beaten, which is a problem weighting 20 kg less than the opponent :-)?
Smaller guys can fight bigger ones and often win, in real competition or fantasy wrestling.
It looks like they want to be abused and submitted with no real need to even try to fight... that's the problem.
I love young skinny guys but I can't stand jobbers and squash jobs, I want them to fight back!
I'm wondering why 90% of young slim guys are interested in being dominated, squashed, beaten and forced into submission without fighting back or actually wrestling at all...
Is it so hard to find slim or skinny young men who really want to wrestle and test their strength in a fight, even though they're not as muscular or big as most guys looking for action here?

As long as the other wrestler doesn't throw the match, I'll be fighting to the finish.

Wrestling is not only about weight or strenght, it's also about skill so a smaller guy can win a fight more often than you think...
