With your belly fat thickness I think it'll just bruise up the skin and fat tissue beneath without hurting the muscle much. Not fun and not worth as training either.
I've been punched in the gut for training but accidentally with a bag glove that had its metal grasp rod in it sticking out to the side. It did hurt my skin and fat tissues, and scratched the surface of the muscle, but it did not have much fun or training effect.
So I think it's better to only think of this option once you find your muscles are so trained and resilient that blunter weapons (kicks, knees, barefist punches, baseball bats, gym powerhammers) cannot hurt them enough anymore.
live in RI right now but moving to the dallas vicinity soon and just wondering if any guys have been punched in the gut with brass knuckles or done the punching with them....curious to know what it is like and would it be worth trying
